Someone reported an elderly dog in distress to Paws 4 Hope, stating he was tied up, hungry, and thirsty. According to ilovemydogsomuch, the dog’s owner passed away four years ago, leaving him in the care of someone who neglected him. At 12 years old, the dog was in poor condition, suffering from severe skin issues, missing teeth, and significant dirt buildup from not being bathed for an extended period.
The rescue team named him Roger and took him to the nearest vet for much-needed medical attention. Roger received treatment for various ailments, including anemia, intestinal parasites, skin and ear problems, and enjoyed a thorough bath before being placed in a caring foster home.
With the dedicated support of his rescuers, the veterinary team, and his foster mom, Roger has shown remarkable improvement both physically and emotionally.
