Recently, Ursula, who has two golden retrievers, shared a photo of one of her dogs attempting to sneak some chips on a train ride. The picture quickly captivated many, highlighting how everyday moments with dogs can resonate deeply with people.
Ursula Daphne Aitchison enjoys capturing her dogs in amusing or unusual moments during their outings. On one particular day, while traveling with her golden retriever, Huxley, she took some candid shots of him. Little did she know, one of these photos would become unexpectedly popular online. 
In the photos posted by Ursula, Huxley appears to be innocently eyeing Ursula’s prawn cocktail-flavored chips with his characteristic charm. In the first image of the Instagram carousel, he is seen peering through the small gap between the train seats. In a playful move, Huxley tries to reach for the chip bag by extending his paw into the gap. The resulting pictures capture his cute and comical efforts to get a treat. 
As we scroll through Huxley’s Instagram photos, we see him adjusting his approach to reach the chip bag. In the later images, his demeanor shifts from calm to more determined. Huxley can be seen using his muzzle to push into the gap between the seats, clearly putting more effort into trying to get closer to the bag. 
In the final photos, Huxley’s determination is evident as he uses his teeth and snout to try to grab the chip bag. He bends his head and tries various angles, but despite his best efforts, he can’t quite reach the bag. Ultimately, Huxley’s mission doesn’t succeed, but his persistence and charm win over everyone’s hearts. 
Even though Huxley didn’t manage to snag the chips, his antics brought smiles and laughter to many people. Ursula’s Instagram post about his attempts received thousands of likes and comments, showing widespread appreciation for his efforts.
The photos were also shared widely on Twitter, including by the snack brand’s ambassador, leading to a flurry of funny memes. Huxley’s expressive, determined face was humorously compared to the iconic “Here’s Johnny” scene from The Shining, and many dog owners shared their own amusing pet moments.
